Metro Detroit’s design community was celebrated at the 13th Annual Detroit Home Design Awards. Judges review hundreds of entries in a variety of design categories and are selected by a team of judges. Revel is honored to have taken first place in the wine cellar category for an “old world” style cellar located in west Michigan.
When local businessman Tom Breihof decided to re-purpose his exercise room into a wine cellar, he heard about Revel from a well-respected friend. “When I checked out their website, it became clear that their wine cellar designs were different—and better.” Breihof adds, “I was also truly impressed how well the Revel team worked with our contractors…very impressed. Plus, it meant a lot to me that they make them right here in West Michigan.”
Conveying a sense of European grace and holding nearly 1,400 bottles, the wine cellar also has a separate tasting area with a generous view of the cellar interior thorough a dramatic arched glass wall combined with a custom solid mahogany door worthy of a castle.
