Lighting - How to Build a Wine Cellar Home
The right cellar lighting is both functional and aesthetic. Functionally, cellar lighting should be low intensity to avoid creating unnecessary heat, while being bright enough for you to be able to easily identify your wines. Dimmer switches are recommended to help you fine tune the light’s intensity.
Cellar lighting also offers a range of aesthetic possibilities. Spotlights can be used to highlight picture openings, table areas, decorative features, or display bottles. Ceiling fixtures can create a visual focal point and bring a sense of scale and flair to the cellar.
