The Business Review’s Innovation Michigan Award event selected finalists from across the state that demonstrated the most creative and innovative new companies, products, processes, or services. The 38 chosen finalists were spotlighted in a special addition of Business Review on July 22^nd, that showcased what innovations were being developed to help our regional economy. The contenders were showcased at an awards exposition on July 28^th where the award winning innovations were announced, as well as a lifetime achievement award was presented to Amway Corporation.

Design Journal, the international trade publication for interior designers, architects and facility managers is the proud sponsor of the Awards for Design Excellence (ADEX). ADEX is the largest and most prestigious awards program for product design of furniture, fixtures and finishes marketed to the design trade. The 2010 ADEX Awards attracted upwards of 500 companies submitting approximately two thousand innovative new products. Revel Custom Cellars was awarded the Gold award level for its line of wine furniture, and the Platinum award level for overall product.

Revel Custom Wine Cellars was honored in Interior Design Magazine’s Best of Year Awards in the Furniture: Residential Storage category. The fourth annual Interior Design Best of Year Awards is the preeminent design competition recognizing superior interior design projects and products in more than 50 categories. Revel was the only start-up in a field of finalists dominated by major international corporations. Best of Year Product Design Merit Award Winners were selected by interior designers and architects via an online vote October 5-11 from a field of over 600 entries, with winners determined by a jury of leading architects and designers. Winners were announced at an awards ceremony on December 3 at the Guggenheim Museum in New York City.
