Traditional Wine Cellars

Memphis, Tennessee Custom Wine Cellar

Featured in Wine Spectator Magazine

Featured in a Wine Spectator private cellars story, our client, a Memphis entrepreneur, commissioned this 17’ x 21’ wine cellar in 2013 and then had the rest of his luxury custom home built around it. A stunning blend of wood, brick and stone, it is constructed with Fijian Mahogany and is accented with solid mahogany beams, exuding warmth and sophistication.

“For me, it’s not just about aesthetics. The sliding drawers and rotating wheels allow me to view my collection without ever actually touching a bottle. And minimizing the handling of the bottles means reducing the risk of breakage or damage to the labels. ”

The label-view presentation allows for library-like ease of browsing.

Sliding pullouts with soft-close mechanisms, lazy-Susan inspired wine wheel towers and case storage options present the wine bottles as much as they store them. The embodiment of a classic Revel cellar, the label-view presentation allows for library-like ease of browsing and selecting without lifting, twisting or having to handle or move bottles.

“I would not hesitate to recommend Revel Custom Wine Cellars to anyone serious about their wine and wanting an extraordinary cellar to keep it in.”
