The headline on the cover of the July 2017 issue of Wine Spectator, “The Art of Collecting: Expert Advice on Creating a Great Wine Cellar” is the first time that nearly an entire issue has been devoted to the subject of designing and building a wine cellar and the art of wine collecting.

In the article beginning on page 40, you will meet collectors from around the country and glimpse inside their cellars. Writer Ben Lasman shares tips and strategies gleaned from Revel founder Jim Cash, among others. The 2-page statement photo that opens the in-depth guide is a magnificent cellar recently built by Revel located in Charlevoix, Michigan.

For us, it is a rather unlikely story given the fact that Revel is a very young start-up company based in East Lansing, far from the world’s wine capitals, that has quickly established itself as the gold standard in the industry. We are humbled and honored to be recognized by one of the world’s leading authorities on all things wine.
